Religious Setup In The United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates as per constitution guarantees the freedom of worship as long as it does not contradict public policy. Individuals belonging to Non-Islamic faith could worship in private without government interference but faced restriction in practicing their religion in public.
Several religious groups have been granted and by government officials, but the expansion of Non-Muslim houses of worship is tightly controlled. There are more than hundreds of Christian congregations but only few are officially sanctioned church building nationwide.
The UAE step further by establishing a Ministry of Tolerance to promote the true image of Islam, one that tolerates co existence.
We the BHS Interfaith Services are dedicated to assist and get through the process in registering and having the license to fully operate without restriction and be able to freely worship accordingly.
